I’m honored to announce a new team member, Steve Eichbauer, HEL’s new Solutions Provider. This is a business development and estimating role that I, Matt, actually started in.
But as I’ve transitioned into General Manager, the position fell off our team’s radar. I’m grateful to revive it now, with Steve.
Steve has 11 years of experience in managing repairs and equipment launches in a manufacturing environment. He not only has the technical expertise necessary to educate customers on capabilities but also connects well with people on a personal level. He has a passion for making improvements and getting things done, holding himself to extremely high standards of professionalism.

I asked Steve a couple questions.
Why did you want to join the HEL team?
“I had a previous relationship with you (Matt) and worked with many of the team members previously as a customer. I always noticed their high quality work and strong communication, so I was excited for the opportunity to be part of this team.”
What are you most looking forward to in this role?
“I love learning and getting to know people. It’s clear that at HEL, every day contains something new. I love that. Coming from metal forming work, I’m quickly asking questions and learning about the other areas of HEL’s work, like injection molding.”

I look forward to watching Steve get to know our existing customers to validate their experiences and gather direct customer feedback.
My goal for Steve is that he’ll make an introduction to someone we have not yet had the opportunity to work for—and start to showcase how our full capabilities can be beneficial for them!
