Spice Alliance—located in Rockford, Michigan—is the parent company to Beanilla and Spice Jungle. Together, Spice Alliance produces gourmet spice mixes, loose leaf teas, and baking ingredients.
The team at Spice Alliance had ordered a 6 ft by 3.5 ft mixer—a new piece of machinery to make their production more efficient.
However, the mixer was damaged in shipping.
They opted for a local repair, calling us at HEL, Inc. for support. We inspected the mixer to confirm the extent of the damage. After the inspection we were able to fabricate and weld in replacement components, and then realign the drive motor and sheave.
We also fabricated a cart to wheel the mixer around their production facility, as it’s too heavy to easily lift and move.
